Carruthers Contracting is a privately-owned Australian civil contractor first established in 1989 on the Sunshine Coast. Our head office is located at our purpose-built premises and construction depot located at the hinterland town of Yandina. Carruthers Contracting employ many long-term staff, while also maintaining established business relationships with many local subcontractors – all skilled towards the complete civil construction process.

Carruthers Contracting continue to grow and improve its capabilities – both in scope of work and integration of new industry technologies and methodologies. A core fleet of plant and equipment includes: Graders, Excavators, Dozers, Loaders, Compactors, Scrapers, Posi Tracks, Backhoes, Water Carts and Rollers all serviced and maintained internally.

Carruthers Contracting also have a dedicated survey team within the company. Project sites are established with GPS and base stations for machine control and rover set-out. Our Surveyors and select construction staff are all trained with GPS, which combine with machines to provide a superior level of control.
